My booboo is so beautiful.
This is Joseph Alexander Cano .
Not many people may know but my little brother Joseph faces a developmental disorder called Autism that does not have a cure . Autism restricts Joseph from being able to progress mentally as fast and as easy as other kids may . Things such as not being able to communicate as well as others and rather than having the mind of a 4 year old going onto 5 , he has the the cognitive level of a child that’s only about 2 years and 7 months old . Not only that , but he still has the inability to speak at the moment . He used to go through about 25 hours of therapy per week , but due to budget cuts for the funding of programs for kids that face Autism , it has been cut to about 12.5 hours a week . Even through those intensive hours , Joseph still manages to be the loving , adorable kid that he is . Although Joseph doesnt really show how much he loves us , I’m sure that he loves us just as much as we love him . Every year my family and Joseph participate in Walk Now for Autism at the Pasadena Rosebowl , both by walking a few miles and donating as much money as we can . Furthermore , I want to gather as much people as I can to walk for my little brother , Joseph ^__^ So please let me know if you have the opportunity to walk for Joseph on April 23rd . If not then it’s okay , just do both Joseph and I a favor by reblogging and spreading awareness for those with Autism .We also plan on getting customized t-shirts for those who are willing to participate with us .
